Jaguar MKII 3.4L
When these were made in the 1960s they were among the best sporting saloons available and were offered in three engine sizes; 2.4, 3.4 and 3.8 litres. This Mark 2 is one of the early ones, made in 1957 and fitted with a 3.4 engine. It has a four speed Moss gearbox with overdrive, making it both sporty and an excellent long distance tourer.
The car is as shown in green with a tan leather interior and enough woodwork to furnish the average dining room or gentlemen's club. Not that this classic car is any slouch - this vintage Jaguar MkII was chosen by the UK's police forces (and subsequently by the UK's criminals) for its speed, agility and interior space.
So pretend you are a London, East End gangster for a day or just cruise our Jag Mark 2 to your favourite picnic spot, pull down the cute picnic tables in the back of the front seats, pour yourself (a small!) glass of champagne, drop in a strawberry and imagine you are a rich sixties celebrity. Either way it will take you back to a time before speed limits, even before The Beatles!
